Default Re: The sad case of a founding members and player of Wrexham Football Club

Good Afternoon to all on the list,
I am Rod Gebhardt from Cape Town, great grandson of Thomas BROSTER, whom I only recently found out was an active footballer himself. I only ever knew of him as a very active cricketer.
I would like to hear from anyone if Thomas played any more games for the AFC? This is a very interesting part of his life and I would like to uncover as much as is humanly possible.
Thank you all for your interest and if I am able to I would like to share any information I am able to uncover about him.
I often wonder if his father, Benjamin BROSTER who also worked for the Post Office, was also active in any sports in the Wrexham area? Would anyone know?
His son Edward (Ted) who was born in Wrexham when his mother came to visit the family, was also an avid cricketer. He played wicket keeper for the Border Region in the Cape.
Again thanks to all for your interest
