It's not much of an indicator, you can get these nice cars with very good lease deals, I do believe Robbie's car come's via a specialist firm who Durrell works for, as the company bulk buys such cars it's cheaper than going to the dealership. You or I could do exactly the same for £250 a month, so hardly proves he's expensive or an indication of a decent standard of living. He may also like to spend the money some would spend on playing golf or other hobbies each week on a car.
I say try and strike a deal with him that allows him to have the op, he may have ruined his career playing through the pain barrier to try and help, so its the least the club can do.
