There was good news today for manager Dean Keates, when goalkeeper Chris Dunn confirmed his acceptance of a new offer.
“I’m delighted that Chris will be back with us next season,” said the boss.
“He was outstanding for us during the last campaign and will a be a major asset going forward.
“Chris also contributed with coaching the younger keepers at the club, so they will continue to learn from him.
“His signature is a big plus for us and gives us a base on which to build.”
The 29-year-old arrived at the club last summer from Cambridge United and vied with Shwan Jalal for the starting position.
In total, he played in 19 league games, although a hip injury at North Ferriby in November, cost him a number of appearances.
His career has seen him play for Northampton Town, Coventry City, Yeovil Town and Cambridge United before arriving at the Racecourse, giving him over 200 games during his career.
