Twelve year old children are fully capable of making decisions including those with which we may not agree.
In a very poor team Penn often stood out as the only player who seemed to know what he was doing and how to do it. If a 12 year old can see this he would also feel let down and at that age would find it difficult to see the larger picture.
The comments on here have been too negative - once/when/if results pick up (I believe DK has a good idea of who he wants) then he may make another decision to come back 'from the dark side'.
