Default Re: The future of Wxm AFC in their hands

I was attracted as a lifelong fan from starting going as a kid at 4 years old. And 44 years on, its still there, my lifelong support.

It so important to get the youngsters interested in our club. I was lucky in that 1974 was the start of the greatest decade in Wrexham's history.

It must be so hard to attract the current young generations with our current circumstances as a club. Trips to Wembley are very helpful, but the essence is that the football needs to be exciting. Kids feed of their parents/grandparents. If they hear them moaning, and shouting negative comments at the club's players, wether this is deserved or not, it will quite naturally have a negative influence on the young fans enjoyment of the club.

Kids want to see their dads going crazy when they celebrate a goal. It's infectious. From Boy to Man. Or girl to Woman.
