Still is. The "smart" motorway work is ongoing for quite some time yet. I will be going from M56 on to the Sharston Link and going anti clockwise on M60 round to join M62 at Simister Island. Will still join it in the roadworks but they don't go on too much further from there.
It still won't be a picnic going that way but better than going clockwise on M60 even though it is a mile or two longer.
