Ossett might have lost but the mighty Dabbers march on. Playing at level 7 and not having the best of seasons the Dabbers managed to win last night to secure a place in the 1st round proper - quite an achievement for our friends just half an hour down the road.
They have to date managed to bring in almost £35K in prize money plus gate receipts. Dabbers have been rewarded with a lousy tie away at Stevenage in Round One but they will again be making a bit of money out of the cup. The competition is a great boost to lower level teams finance and many supporters embrace it.
