It's a shame his honesty in that message wasn't equalled in his quotes to Tuesday's Daily Post:

Wrexham manager Dean Keates insists he is not in the running for the vacant manager's job at Walsall, despite being second favourite among bookmakers to take over at his former club.
Keates told the Daily Post today: "I've had no contact from Walsall and don't expect to."

Honesty? Integrity? Loyalty? Why should the players feel any sense of belonging at Wrexham when their boss showed none this week?
