He has demonstrated he is a good Conference fullback and demonstrated we can compete when he plays as part of a two in midfield. I don't think he's had much of a chance as a three in midfield which would probably suit him.
That makes him worth a wage and probably saves us money. I think he does what he is asked to do excellently. It verged on the criminal that Keates didn't play him instead if Jennings late in the season. That was probably a lot to do with Keates wanting Carrington to be on the bench to cover several options.
