Im am not an expert in welding etc but removing seats and then putting in the safety bits should be ok. I would guess the lift would be the key factor.
Maybe some company would be prepared to convert for Wrexham fans.

Alternatively I would expect to be able to purchase a 2nd hand vehicle already converted.

These options would seem easier to pursue than trying to hire vehicles that are probably needed for more practical daily & weekly use.
A small Optare type bus similar to the type used locally can be purchased for between 10 to 15k. (About 10 years old) These have low platforms for wheelchair access and could easily be adapted with anchor points etc.
I understand that a normal license can be used as long as no more than 9 passengers are carried.
A bus like this could double up as an outlet for commercial use or for promoting the club around the area to attract fans / membership drives etc.
The bus could easily attract sponsorship to offset or cover running costs.
Arriva might be able to provide one on reasonable terms?
