Jason Gilchrist plays for Southport and scored 26 goals last season. He was previously with FC United of Manchester where he was a prolific goal scorer. It is alleged that Southport paid £50K for him. He is a firm favourite at Haig Avenue. I doubt that Southport would be prepared to sell unless the price was right. Certainly, outside our price range.
