He’s starting to sound like Morrell. So now I admit I’m concerned he’s out of his depth and has gone chasing players we realistically were never going to get. This is where football experience on the board could help but we have none.

We have never had a board member with football experience in our existence, our last 'traditional boardroom' consisted of a newsagent, a car body repairer and a glazier! Prior to that we had a selection of farmers, estate agents, travel agents, furniture retailers, car salesmen, butchers and assorted small shopkeepers.
