On the loan front, the FA have altered their rules this season regarding short term loans. Burgess was thus signed on a short term loan until January and everyone (FA/FAW/VNL) was happy except for the EFL who insisted on the old 93 day limit. Consequently, Bury agreed to convert the Scott Burgess loan to 3 months. Walker was also to be a similar short term loan but is now, thank you EFL, our sixth and final long term loan.
