Asked wasn't turned down twice, just the first time, the second time as soon as Keates left he was on the phone asking about the Wrexham job even though he was still top with Macc, he was on the phone everyday to the club and he was interviewed and was first choice then all of a sudden he ceased all communication with us, stopped answering his phone and emails, word was he was going to Salford, anyway we know where he ended up. That's why I'm not that keen on him coming here now but I wouldn't be displeased if he did. That info came off Joey Jones btw.
