Thing is, I could have understood the decision if it had been STFC we'd been playing or if our result could affect that club in some way but this was a situation of complete lack of conflict of interest. It's precisely for this reason it was the right thing to do. From reports we denied them an approach and they offered exactly howuch his trigger is. That is not a coincidence. If they asked judas to deny rumours and he's no commented then the board is left with nowhere to go. It would have been a farce for him to be involved tonight given the full story
