This all looks very good. Although Ricketts has gone there is a theme now to what is happening around consistency and continuity. How many times has a new manager arrived with his own ideas and staff and the plot has all gone wrong. Appointing Barrow as assistant manager BEFORE the manager says an awful lot about the Boards intentions and extending Pearsons contract will send a strong message to the rest of the players that if you do well here you will be safe and will be rewarded. Any manager now coming in will have to join the team not make up his own.
