Not for me. The fact he played for Walsall and supported them gives him the excuse but he still walked out on the club and killed our season.
In fact you could argue that what Keates did was worse as we were three quarters through the season and well placed in the league. He really did leave us in the lurch. We have ample time now to move on from Ricketts leaving. I have little respect for either of them.
