If that's how long it takes for him to be able to walk and run without it inflaming or him being in pain then so be it. He has been a fantastic servant to this club and the last thing you would want is for him to not be able to walk or run pain free for the rest of his life due to rushing back for a few games in the middle of a season.
There is more to life than football, we have adequate cover for him and we will be bringing in a replacement. Nothing to be angry about.
