We don't even need investment this season miraculously. We have had a huge windfall with the Danny Ward money, had two managers bought out of their contracts in the past six months, had nearly 1500 extra supporters on average coming through the gates. The money is there this season but it is not being spent bizarrely.
People think you don't get value in January. I say when you've got the best chance at automatic promotion since the Morrell team then you gamble and get the players in to push you over the line. That's what the other teams, Salford and Solihull, have done and look at them. They'll be pulling away from us while we bring in a few more loanees that have little goalscoring pedigree.
