I don't go along with this won't sign good strikers as won't pay for them, take Bonne for instance at Leyton Orient he was crap before they signed him, it's more down to poor coaching, poor scouting Fondup an example, the fat pub centre half/striker from Harrogate last season.
But spotting potential at this level is paramount, take Wright as an example has he really progressed since we signed him?

No progression whatsoever.
It brings you back to Carl Darlington. Hyped up to death on here with little to no evidence of his coaching coming through in terms of player development, tactics, attacking play etc etc. I don't get the hype at all and never have done.
