I remember it and If only........, and this should be our ambition to represent the North. 5,000 loyal fan base in this dump, can easily turn to 8-10K in L2 (look at Salford game) and back to 15K-20K like we did in the late 70's and mid 80's. Look at Huddersfield, or Bournemouth we easily have the same as them, and only TV money keeping them up.
Denis Smith wasn't in charge when we finished 10th in 2001. He took over towards the end of the 01-02 season which saw us relegated.
