I wasn’t convinced that we had suddenly become this attacking side under Hughes. We’d have played that game the exact same way under Keates, Ricketts and Barrow.

So who are the common denominators? It’s Darlington off the pitch and Pearson and Jennings on it. It seems to be ingrained and there’s nothing anyone can do to change it.
