Surely there must also be a conflict of interests as well for anyone involved in both. In some ways it could even be insider information to know the WST stood against something which could then be actioned by WAFC as there are no checks or balances.
An issue as big as the manager wanting out in probably the most critical point of the season surely warranted better management by all.
The WST are portrayed as weak especially the Chairman and others in key positions. Harris should have been brought to task IMO.
The results in Jan and the weakening position now is a result of this fiasco.
