Default I bet you...

Paul Scholes was charged by the Football Association for allegedly breaking their rules on betting.

It is alleged that the former Manchester United midfielder, now a co-owner of Salford City, placed 140 bets on matches between August 2015 and January 2019.

If proven, the bets would contravene FA Rule E8, which relates to misconduct. Players, managers, match officials and club staff are all prohibited from betting on football anywhere in the world if employed by a Premier League, English Football League, National League, Women's Super League, as well as those in the Northern, Southern and Isthmian leagues.

He has until 26 April 2019 to respond to the FA charge.

I wonder how much he placed on us to score 5 against Salford, and the double for them to beat us a few days later!
