The WST is hardly a paragon of democracy, because it is only possible to change 4 board members at a time, rather than vote out the whole lot (if that is what the voters wanted). Replacing four at a time gives massive inertia and facilitates the 'jobs for the boys' mentality on the club board. To achieve effective change would require sustained effort over several years, which is difficult. I'm not saying I don't appreciate the off-field work done by the WST, it's the amateurish football governance that is the problem.
