Aaron Smith would be a good target. An excellent creative midfielder who was recently playing in the Scottish Premiership but moved back closer to home in England which I believe was for personal issues. Due to contract restrictions he has been unable to play higher than the Conference North since leaving Scotland. He has been playing for 1874 Northwich in the North West Counties to stay fit. He is a free agent next season and is looking for a move to a much higher level. I’ve seen him numerous times and he is excellent earning rave reviews from media, fans and fellow players. He’s probably good enough for League 2. He’s on our doorstep and we’ll be missing a trick not offering him a trial.
