Or he's looking for a specific type of right back i.e. more attacking than Roberts/Carrington are and he's waiting to find the right one knowing Carrington can step in if needed should it take longer than anticipated.
I can't say I believe the scenario you describe in its entirety especially that we offered terms and then withdrew them. Probably just held talks more likely.
Where did it come from that he's now looking at a loan RB?
