Default Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Cup 3rd round draw - AYR at home

Wrexham AFC would like to inform supporters that the draw for the third round of the SPFL Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup will take place on Wednesday, 14th August at 12.30pm live from Hampden Park in Glasgow.

The Dragons were entered in to the Scottish competition to represent the Vanarama National League alongside Solihull Moors. Qualification for National League representitive clubs is the result of the two highest placed clubs from the previous season who did not gain promotion.

Clubs who represent their respective leagues in the SPFL in Scotland, the Cymru Premier in Wales, Northern Ireland's NIFL, the Repbublic of Ireland's 'League of Ireland' and England's National League will all go in to the hat on Wednesday afternoon and you can watch the draw live on the SPFL's official YouTube channel.

2 clubs from Northern Ireland Football League (Ballymena United & Glenavon)
2 clubs from Welsh Premier League (The New Saints & Connah’s Quay Nomads)
2 clubs from League of Ireland Premier Division (Waterford & Bohemians)
2 clubs from English National League (Solihull Moors & Wrexham)
10 clubs from Ladbrokes Championship
14 winners from second round
Pre-draw to determine which country will be allocated Pot A, Pot B, Pot C & Pot D to avoid 2 cross-border teams from the same country playing each other. Pot E has 24 Scottish teams.
