Classic and entirely predictable . They always do this. Whenever they are under pressure they come up with some ploy or story designed to curry favour with the fans. A few “feel good” crumbs to throw to the masses to keep them quiet, and then they carry on with their mismanaged decline. We need to resist the crumbs and see them for what they are.
