When was the first time Wrexham were live on TV? Bearing in mind that until the early 80's practically the only live club football on TV was the FA Cup final or various European Cup Competition Finals (League Cup final from about 1983 maybe?)

I reckon it was the second leg of the 1978 Welsh Cup final at Bangor on BBC Wales, mate reckons it was the Anderlecht home game. I remember watching the former on TV on a Sunday afternoon, not sure about Anderlecht as I was at the game.

Or was there an earlier one?
There may be games that BBC Wales televised as I moved to London in the early eighties but I'm fairly sure that the first live game I saw on "National TV" was a game against Man U in the ECW cup. I'm not sure which one though but my failing braincells has Mark Hughes scoring against us at Old T. That was in 1990. First game on MOTD? - I'm going for away to Plymouth Argyle about 1974 which we won 3-0 at their place.
