Re: Outside investment.
The languages used for our announcements is the LEAST of our problems. We need outside investment, and we need it fast. The trouble with voluntary groups (like or board) is that it doesn’t change as often as it should. All fans should be encouraged to take a stint.
I remember being pushed to join a school PTA. I had a few recommenders. When it came to leaving the PTA, it was tough. No one wanted to commit, and I stayed on it longer than I should. There are some on our board who have been in the public eye too long. It’s rather pleasant up there! I find it really hard to criticise good people, who give their all for the love of our club. But after a few years, it’s time to pass the baton.
