You ought not to be surprised that threads get derailed.
I would welcome "outside investment" but am unsure what most mean by it.
An annual injection of cash in exchange for a board position?
A takeover in the hope that the new owner would pump money in and not disappear at the first sign of trouble or when he realised that he'd inherited a cash drain?
If it was the latter then I'd expect the purchaser to reimburse the trust the £1million plus they've invested to ensure that we could start again if it went tits up.
