Hopefully an indication of an improving solid defence, now everyone is back fit. Good luck to Horsfield, hope his injury isn’t an ACL as feared.
Pearson returned after his hamstring strain - partnered Lawlor and as a unit looked better with that long term understanding flanked by Jennings on the left - three of last season's solid long term back four sorted who di so well - only addition was Horsfield - in Dean Keates pre Rochdale interview he virtually confirms that after scan results it's not looking good suggesting damaged anterior cruciate ligament so strong possibility out for the season - Carrington would be the obvious choice to slot in at right back.

Horsfield's injury is a massive blow not only for an improving team but for the player himself who was starting to look a solid acquisition which was much needed.
