I also would like a similar line for those playing as well, thinking back to the pictures and accounts of Speights attack, or even the Channel 4 footage of James Gray as examples.
As for those being appointed, you could extend it to elected as well, however how would that come out when there is a no negative campaigning rule in place?

Mostly agree, the Bangor thing is a thought, but it opens a can of worms, I don't like the Glazers, but would we consider not playing Man U in a friendly.
The spent convictions is right, and applies to the players too.
Not so sure if the spent convictions get forgotten for money related for accountancy positions etc
