Both management/coaching are as key as the players, apart from Pearson we haven’t got one leader in the squad. Good teams have multiple captains all across the pitch and have a strong spine, we don’t have anything. Darlington’s tactics are killing us and every transfer window we seem to sign players who do t fit into it, too many square pegs in round holes.
There is no surprise we’re where we’re as I called it in the summer, the players we signed were utterly ridiculous. I can’t believe some thought this squad was strong enough to compete to win the league, the signings of Bobb, Chambers, Barton and Macintosh was sheer desperation and hopeful punts because we can’t compete with our wage cap. Playing Dibble has killed the season before it even started, Hughes should of jibbed him off and got a keeper in on loan.
