If he's not good enough (in Keates" opinion) then get rid
To not even speak to the lad from one week to the next except to send him out on loan and not even check on his progress is a joke and says everything about what he is.
Coaching is about nurturing your team and especially young players but guess what, it's also hard work which Keates clearly doesn't want to do.Mills was exactly the same.
Brian Flynn was a master at getting the best out of young players during the 90's and the results were there to see. Going back further, so was John Neal.
People will say football has moved on but coaching philosophy remains the same.It's not rocket science but you have to want to do it
Keates doesn't want to do the graft.Get rid of him and keep Tharme I say.
