Sadly thats typical of some Wrexham fans opinion on
Chester. But thankfully not all.
As a Wrexham fan I hold their grand old club with high regard and recall many a great day at Sealand Road watching fantastic derby matches as well as their many cup runs. Real blood and thunder football played in the mud !
Their story of renewal is different to Wrexham's, It involved the same character and different circumstances . Wrexhams supporters learnt from Chesters demise. (Mind - you wouldn't think it with todays position in the league)
Some fans don't realise that
Chester had, and still has many links with some Wrexham people and the current animosity displayed by some is a modern trend.
