However, it is a pointless exercise getting Spencer and Co. to resign if you don't have anyone lined up to replace them. Not only someone to replace them, but someone who the fans can get behind. If you compare it to the prime minister role where David Cameron resigned and Theresa May took over. Nobody voted for her to take over. If change must happen. The positions must already be pre-filled. What happens if Spencer and Co. resign and nobody takes over ? What position does that put the club in ?

Just questions that need answers.
But there will be a vote to replace Spencer. The same as there will be a vote to replace Steve Lloyd or Sarah Howard-Smith. They’ve both resigned, must they have sourced their own replacements before resigning?

This irrational fear that Spencer Harris is the only person that on earth that will do the role is bizarre

Spencer has never been elected whilst running unopposed, what makes you think he’ll run unopposed this time? And even for arguments sake if there was no one willing to do his role (which there are) the amount of people that have said they won’t return if he is still at the club is enough justification to see a paid board member come into the club
