What interest is there for the club in 'saving the groves', and saved from what exactly?
It does raise a secondary point, are we going to be the leading reason for the legal challenge to lifting of the much debated covenant on the site, and is that just the field or will it be the building too - and will that magically aid redevelopment plans for that?
There is strong feeling over the topic locally, so what happens if that challenge is lost? The doom and gloom Plan B option to assess other sites will have to come into play regardless as we get booted off the 9 Acre for the school.
There is a scenario that we help get the covenant lifted, exercise break clause in 10 years time, and suddenly there is a valuable piece of land in the town centre ripe as you say for dolls houses / flats. Is that the 'saving' you mean?
