Rich is an old mate of mine, we go way back to the days of The Walnut. Yeah he did offer 10k for a seat on the club board when he was on the trust board but he never made it public knowledge and didn’t seek any publicity from it either, that’s the type of lad he is. I don’t think hardly anyone knows but he was the person that researched and arranged the visit of the Dismal Jimmy’s to Colin Poole’s equestrian event at his country house back in 2011 which led to Poole withdrawing his offer for the club and enabled the WST to go ahead and rescue the club.
