I can see the return at the borders of police intercepting inbound visitors to North Wales - it was much easier early in the year and through the summer as half the world was towing a caravan - now it will be almost impossible to wean the visitors from the locals unless they do far more stops than dip samples.
Notts Red told us yesterday that his work would bring him over the border. I expect those who just want to join the Cheshire set at Abersoch will find no problems putting together an essential worker letter to show The Heddlu if they are stopped. In short the travel rules are not enforceable and unless you are driving a Chelsea tractor with a plate beginning with M the chances of being caught at the border are slim. That said there are plenty of locals on the Lleyn who might consider a call to the police from outside the holiday home.
