If it was his man he lost him before the corner taker even put the ball down before taking the kick. Pearson was a good two yards ahead of Vassell and the scorer came from behind him.
If it had been Dibs he would have been criticised for either not coming for the ball or for moving his feet too late to try and save the header.
One difference between Dibble and Lainton is that Dibs will sometimes come, even if he isn't certain he will get there. Rob, though, seems not to come unless he is certain he can get there.
