Another tough game for us, this. I watched their game against Stockport, live on BT, last week and they were very unlucky not to get at least a draw. Stockport were really hanging on in 2nd half, but despite all their possession Southend were lacking in the final third.
They like to use their wingers a lot and were constantly getting around the back of the Stockport defence but just couldn't find the back of the net, although they had a blatant penalty turned down by the ref. Replays showed that Rhys Murphy was pulled back in the penalty area.
My prediction... Southend 1-3 Wrexham Mullin 2 (1 pen) and J Jones
