Walked to the ground that day and never seen so many away coaches coming into Wrexham. Andy Lochhead the balding Scot at centre forward for them.
Then in 76 after a few close games with them in Div 3 we made the journey to Villa Park in front of 40K to see Whittle score and us take a 1-0 lead early on. Unfortunateley they then scored 5. Even in the third division Villa maintained a great following home and away.
