I really liked the atmosphere in the ground.
Did they still have the band?
Tell me about it, I didn't even know we'd played either of them at the time! I don't think they had a band, but it was a few years ago now so can't remember perfectly.

Could you see the video? The atmosphere was truly something else, after all the smoke started to clear from the flares they started waving a load of flags, it looked choreographed, absolutely amazing.

Nice one! I'll have to put it on youtube when I get the chance to convert the file format.

You can't see it on the video but next to the away crowd (on the right of me on the vid) there was about 200 hundred (ish?) police sat next to them in the stands. Considering the scenes they handled it pretty well, compared to NWP anyway! We didn't encounter any violence or trouble out of the ground whatsoever.

Needless to say it was an unexpected and unbelievable experience considering we went on a whim and didn't really expect. It's made me want to go ground hopping around Europe when I've got a job and the money to do it.

First stop would be the Nou Camp I think, anyone been before? How easy is it to get tickets etc

theres a website called "europeanfootballweekends" run by a Lewes/Brighton fan. He organises trips to european games and do a long weekend with 3/4 games taken in. An idea for the future Billthered?!

That would be a cracking idea actually, would appreciate any links to that!

I'm looking to take my brother to the nou camp for his 18th (which is a fair few years away so I have time to save) as he loves watching Barca, but if I could fit it into one of those weekends that would be quality!

Tickets are quite easy for about half the games... Just go to any La Caixa cash machine in the city and buy them on the day. Their website is ServiCaixa.com - Venta de entradas

Tickets are from about 20 quid, if you sit on the top tier either in Lateral or Gol Norte.

There's a nice little shop run by a very catalan old man, just off the las ramblas, half way down, opposite the building with umbrellas and a dragon on it, plus in between the church and the museum.

It's called camp nou now. The members voted on the name change a few years back.
