Stockport Takeover...Vaughan...? You'll want to read this

Was just having a chat with a friend of mine whos a Stockport County fan about differences since they've come down etc.

Something he said that alarmed me it was something along the lines of the consortium that owns/ is taking over Stockport it went something like "apparently you lot have told Tony Evans hes welcome to invest there if he cant sort it out with the board here"

This is the first I have heard of it :S I don't recall anyone welcoming an investor to pump money into us.

That's not even the bad news THIS IS!...

This is what he pasted me from somewhere, maybe a comment from their forum or something.

So does this basically mean Van Morten - Vaugh wants to takeover Stockport County? Then bring Vaugh in?!! I say Van Morten because he just pasted me this as well....

This year, he was strongly rumoured to be interested in investing in Wrexham FC, before the deal to buy the club – fronted by Tony Allan as the Chief Executive, with Robert Bickerton and Jon Harris – foundered just days after it was announced. The fury of the response of Wrexham supporters to his rumoured involvement put paid to that.

I don't know the full SP when it comes to boardroom level knowledge but people on here do, any help greatly appreciated thanks

Makes you wonder if Wynn the failing councilor,Hencher the van driver and Bermingham the bookkeeper are the new, acceptable front for this lot,with Harris pulling the strings inbetween. They're all too thick to understand that,not exactly a brainstrust is it?

I mean, why otherwise won't they reveal their backers,and why has Harris been running the club down,perhaps to run down the price for his paymasters? Come on Wynn, 'fess up, who are your backers, and why don't they want to invest in a community club? As i read else where on RP,they're all in it together,all the freeloaders.

I wont have any thing bad said about Vaughan or Geoffrey & Bungle at Wrexham FC for that matter. These characters after all passed the fit and proper persons test when they took over the respective clubs.

Wynn is someone who I admire too , why has he really been getting the stick, he doesnt warrant it.

The sooner the current ownership has been released of their duties at the Racecourse. The sooner Vaughan Ducks off! And the sooner all the other scheming barstewards at other clubs duck off too ! Football will be a much better place ! Well i can dream anyway!
