BBC Sport - Olympics Football: Wales' Neil Taylor reveals Team GB call up

Couldn't see anything about this. But Taylor has said he's in the olympic squad. Personally don't agree with welsh players in team GB but it's a good achievement for someone who was playing in the blue square 2/3 seasons ago.

Suppose there is a lack of decent young left backs now. Dont rate him myself. Against decent players eg. Valencia they tear him apart. However he is not that exposed at swansea so doesnt really do that much in the game.

As I've said before I hope the experience serves him well for future tournaments with Wales.

Also wouldn't mind him doing well and being sold for a fair few millions!

As for Team GB. Won't watch. No interest.

Aye, that's my big interest in his career now. Hopefully he'll have a great season again with Swansea, get all hyped up, and end up going for a vastly inflated fee.

I never rated him in the aspect that I never thought he would be good enough for the PL. League One yes, but not PL or Championship. I was shocked when Swansea signed him, and fair does he's proved me wrong.

Agree with all you say. Neil's talent and application were obvious ( to some of us at least) from the time we first saw him play. Delighted to see his progress and hope , like you, he makes a big money move with Wrexham FC receiving a welcome financial bonus.

Fully agree with the comments about not believing that some fans didn't rate him. His potential was obvious and he was a cut above others around him despite his age, inexperience and sometimes slight rashness.
