To be fair, Gateshead's possession football is pretty unique for the lower leagues and most opponents don't see much of the ball. If they were just a tad more direct they'd win more games IMO and have a better chance of promotion. Regardless of how poor we are at the moment, I doubt that Mills will get the Heed promoted with this style. They've come close of course but sometimes you need to be more direct. If they had been they would have won at Wembley last year.
