I get the feeling that Jackson (and Smith) are the type of players that are classed as 'wide attackers' and not necessarily strikers.
The use of these type of players can be effective provided they are fairly clinical finishers.
Unfortunately my gut instinct is that, however quick and athletic they are, will not provide the goals we'll need.
I think we're a natural striker short, which I think will prove costly.
