Very disjointed first half. Dunn looked good in goal but Rooney way too deep. Lack of creativity and pace. Unclear what formation we are playing and a ref who is letting Dover get away with too much.

Not a bad half. Fairly even. The first ten minutes we were overrun, but now have much more control. However, to achieve that Barry and Rooney are dropping very deep, sometimes even behind the centre backs. Dover are defending very deep, and which is leaving a huge gap between our midfield and attack, and our long balls are almost all getting intercepted. On the upside, it creates a big space in midfield, but we're not exploiting that (except for a couple of marauding runs by Bencherif), because we're always looking for the long balls into the corner. If Gary can put that right at half time, it should be a much better second half.
